We have 4 psychiatry specialists working actively in our clinic. For over age of 18, psychiatry outpatient services are provided.
- Neurotic disorders, psychotic disorders and mood disorders are followed and treated.
- There are 6 psychologists in our Psychological Evaluation Unit (Mental Health Evaluation Unit), which works integratedly with our department. When the relevant psychiatrist approves clinical necessity, psychological tests are applied in this unit.
Diseases followed in our department:
- Neurotic disorders (Such as depression, anxiety disorders, obsessive disorders, social phobia, panic disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder),
- Psychotic Disorders (Schizophrenia etc.), Mood Disorders (Bipolar disorder etc.),
- Some psychological evaluation tests that can be done in our department; Intelligence Tests (Kent-Porteus), Personality Tests (MMPI-The Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory), Attention deficit scales (for attention deficit and hyperactivity disorders), MMT (for the evaluation of diseases causing cognitive defect such as dementia)
