In our laboratory, there are 4 microbiology specialists working.
Tests which done in our laboratory:
- Bacteriology: Culture-anbiogram (throat, stool, urine, mucus, wound, cerebrospinal fluid), manual and automatic bacteria identification and antibiogram tests, Microscopic examinations with Gram color , screening tests, rapid streptococcal A test, helicobacter pylori tests in stool, ARB detection in non-sputum samples
- Virology; PCR tests (Covid-19)
- Parasitology: Parasites and parasite eggs are investigated by microscopic examination in Stool, urine and in some other in body fluids. Further amoebic dysentery is diagnosed by the Entamoeba histolytica antigen test.
